Setting Up Face ID, Touch ID, or Fingerprint Authentication
Face ID, Touch ID, and Fingerprint Authentication on the OurFamilyWizard mobile app let you bypass username and password authentication and login to your account using the face or fingerprint authentication settings you already have configured for your device. This is an optional feature and is only available for devices that support face or fingerprint authentication.
In this tutorial:
Face ID or Touch ID for iOS
In order to use Face ID or Touch ID entry for the OurFamilyWizard mobile app, you must enable the Face ID or Touch ID feature through your iPhone's settings. Once that's completed, to set up Face ID or Touch ID entry, start by logging into your account on the mobile app with your username and password. Note: You can only use Face ID for the OurFamilyWizard mobile app if your iOS device supports this type of authentication.
If you’re new to using the app but already use Face ID or Touch ID on your iPhone, you will be prompted on the home screen to set up Face ID or Touch ID for the OurFamilyWizard mobile app upon your first login.
- In the app's main navigation menu, tap the Home icon. Next, tap Security.
- In the Sign-in Options field, toggle the switch for Touch ID to Enabled. If your device supports Face ID, toggling this switch to Enabled will activate that function.
The next time you log in to your account on the mobile app, you will be prompted to log in using your Face ID or Touch ID. If you ever wish to disable this login setting, toggle the Touch ID switch back to Disabled.
